Terms of Service

BookPromotion.io is a service owned and operated by Py-Core LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company ("Py-Core," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BookPromotion.io (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you enter into an agreement with Py-Core LLC and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Plain-English summary Use BookPromotion.io responsibly, don’t abuse the platform, keep your account secure, and pay for paid plans on time. You own your content; you give us permission to host and display it so the Service can work.

1) Who we are

BookPromotion.io is a service owned and operated by Py-Core LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company. In these Terms, "Py-Core," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Py-Core LLC. "BookPromotion.io" and the "Service" refer to the BookPromotion.io website, platform, and related services operated by Py-Core LLC. "You" refers to the person or entity using the Service.

2) Eligibility and account registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • BookPromotion.io and bks.social use a shared account system operated by Py-Core LLC. An account created through either service may be recognized by both services. Use of each service remains subject to the terms, eligibility requirements, features, and fees applicable to that service.
  • You may be permitted to create or access your account through a third-party authentication provider, including Google. Your use of that provider is also governed by the provider’s own terms and policies.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security and availability of any third-party account you use to sign in. Py-Core LLC is not responsible for loss of access caused by restrictions, suspension, termination, or interruption of a third-party account or service.

3) The Service

BookPromotion.io provides tools for authors and publishers, which may include landing pages, newsletters, analytics, and integrations for marketing and advertising workflows. Features may change over time, and some features may be limited by plan tier.

4) Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Violating any law, regulation, or third-party rights (including intellectual property rights).
  • Uploading or distributing malware, attempting to gain unauthorized access, or interfering with platform security.
  • Spamming, sending unsolicited bulk messages, or abusing newsletter features.
  • Uploading content that is deceptive, infringing, or illegal.
  • Attempting to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service beyond reasonable use.

5) Your content, creative assets, and permissions

  • You own your content. You retain all rights to text, images, book materials, and other content you upload or provide to BookPromotion.io ("Your Content").
  • Your BookPromotion.io creative assets belong to you. Creative materials produced specifically for your account through BookPromotion.io, including book landing pages and promotional videos, are yours to keep and use, subject to any applicable third-party licenses or restrictions.
  • You grant us permission to operate the Service. You grant Py-Core LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify, publish, and display Your Content and your account's creative assets as reasonably necessary to provide the Service and perform the marketing and advertising activities you authorize.
  • You must have rights to materials you provide. You represent that you have all necessary rights to upload and use Your Content and that its use through the Service does not violate the rights of any third party.
  • Asset delivery after cancellation. If you cancel your BookPromotion.io subscription, you may request a copy of the BookPromotion.io creative assets produced specifically for your account. We will provide the source files for your BookPromotion.io book landing pages and copies of promotional videos created for your account.
  • Hosting after cancellation. Cancellation of your subscription ends BookPromotion.io's obligation to continue hosting, maintaining, updating, publishing, or serving your landing pages or other account assets. Receiving copies of your assets does not include continued hosting or other BookPromotion.io services after your subscription ends.

6) Third-party services, authentication, and links

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services, including authentication providers, payment processors, email providers, analytics tools, advertising platforms, and retailers. We do not control those third parties, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

If you use Google or another third-party provider to sign in, that provider may transmit authorized account information to Py-Core LLC so we can create, identify, secure, and maintain your account. Our collection and use of that information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Revoking or disconnecting third-party authentication prevents future sign-ins through that provider, but it does not automatically delete your BookPromotion.io or bks.social account or information already maintained by Py-Core LLC. You may need to establish another available sign-in method or contact us for assistance.

We may disconnect a third-party login, require additional verification, invalidate active sessions, or temporarily restrict account access when reasonably necessary to protect users, accounts, or the Service.

Third-party providers do not sponsor, operate, or endorse BookPromotion.io or bks.social merely because their authentication or other services are used. Py-Core LLC is not responsible for the availability, security, policies, or conduct of third-party services.

7) Paid plans, billing, and advertising balance

  • Subscriptions: Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly unless otherwise stated). Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel.
  • Advertising balance: You may add funds to your BookPromotion.io advertising balance for use with advertising campaigns you authorize through the Service. Your advertising balance is separate from your BookPromotion.io subscription fees and may be used only for advertising and related campaign charges through supported third-party advertising platforms.
  • How advertising funds are used: By authorizing an advertising campaign, you authorize Py-Core LLC to use funds from your advertising balance to pay advertising and related campaign charges incurred on your behalf through supported third-party advertising platforms.
  • Advertising spend: Your advertising balance is reduced based on advertising charges reported by the applicable third-party advertising platform. Your selected campaign budget or spending rate is a spending target or limit used to manage your campaign and is not itself a charge against your advertising balance.
  • Reporting and reconciliation: Advertising platforms may not report advertising charges in real time. As a result, the advertising balance displayed in your BookPromotion.io account may temporarily differ from your final available balance. We may adjust your advertising balance to reconcile advertising charges reported by third-party advertising platforms.
  • Advertising balance reaching zero: If your available advertising balance reaches or approaches zero, advertising campaigns that require additional funds may be paused, limited, or prevented from continuing. We may notify you through your BookPromotion.io account and by email that additional advertising funds are needed.
  • Your subscription remains active: An advertising balance of zero does not cancel, suspend, downgrade, or otherwise terminate your BookPromotion.io subscription. Your subscription and your advertising balance are separate. Subscription charges will continue according to your selected plan until you cancel the subscription or it is otherwise terminated under these Terms.
  • Payment processing: Subscription payments and funds added to your advertising balance are processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store full payment card data.
  • Taxes: Prices may exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Failed subscription payments: If a subscription payment fails, we may suspend or limit access to paid features until payment is resolved.

8) Cancellation and refunds

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals.
  • Unless required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

9) Service availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, including introducing new features or changing plan limits.

10) Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or create risk or legal exposure for BookPromotion.io or others. You may stop using the Service at any time.

11) Disclaimers and advertising results

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Py-Core LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

BookPromotion.io does not guarantee the performance or results of any advertising or marketing campaign. Advertising results vary and may be affected by factors outside our control, including audience response, advertising platform algorithms, competition, market conditions, book pricing, creative performance, campaign budget, and third-party platform policies.

We do not guarantee any particular number of impressions, clicks, click-through rate, conversions, book sales, revenue, rankings, followers, subscribers, or return on advertising spend.

Advertising platforms such as Meta, Instagram, and TikTok independently review and deliver advertisements under their own policies and systems. We do not guarantee that an advertisement will be approved, remain approved, be delivered at a particular rate, or remain available on any third-party advertising platform.

12) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Py-Core LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or use arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of Py-Core LLC for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid directly to Py-Core LLC for the Service during the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13) Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Py-Core LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) Your Content; (c) your advertising, marketing, or promotional materials; or (d) your violation of these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of a third party.

14) Governing law and disputes

These Terms of Service and any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, BookPromotion.io, or your use of the Service will be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, any legal proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wilson County, North Carolina, and you and Py-Core LLC consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

15) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
